We completed the 30th edition of the Inca Trail Marathon on August 23, 2012.
100% of runners crossed the finish line in One Day, entering Machu Picchu through Sun Gate "Intipunku" the original entrance to Machu Picchu. Our priority has always been to preserve the quality of the experience of all participants.

My sister and I completed this year's Inca Trail Marathon. This is my second trip with Devy, the first was to Patagonia. Devy's attention to detail along with the wonderful personalities of he and his staff and guides makes this a true value. My sister took a terrible fall and they gave her such good care and attention that she was able to finish the marathon and stay with the group until we returned to Lima. Not only was Andes Adventures looking out for her welfare but also her comfort during a very difficult experience. The run was very hard and amazing. The activities during the days leading up to the run and the accommodations and food were superlative. Devy has a great way of mixing cultural experience with the experience of the run. For any one looking for a South American adventure, including athletic activity and exposure to the culture, this is the outfit to go with, Andes Adventures - where you get the biggest bang for your buck.
